About The Greenfield Review PRESS & LITERARY CENTER
Our Story
Greenfield Review was founded by Joseph and Carol Bruchac. It published The Greenfield Review, a cross-cultural magazine with a focus on poetry and storytelling, beginning in 1970. Since then, the press has been a home for a great diversity of voices. Greenfield Review, a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit, has published over 150 multicultural books and anthologies of contemporary poetry and fiction, including Words from the House of the Dead: An Anthology of Prison Writings from Soledad, Breaking Silence: Asian American Authors(winner of an American Book Award) and Returning the Gift.
Giving voice to marginalized peoples, by amplifying their wisdom, stories, and experiences. We were a multicultural publisher before the term gained wide currency, although we define "multicultural" as inclusive of all cultures not just those neglected in the past.
